About 40,000 or 1 in 100 children are born with some form of Congenital Heart Disease every year. CHD is the most common cause of infant death due to birth defects, and roughly 25% of babies born with a complex CHD will not see their 1st birthday. Children who live with CHD require long term care, medications, and surgeries.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will go to creating care packages for families in who receive care in the Cardiac ICU at Children's Wisconsin where many families receive complex care for their heart disease , emergency situations, waiting or recovering from surgery, or possibly awaiting heart transplants.
